JANKLERZ is a collection of 2,000 NFTs inspired by internet culture, developed by Leancup.

The collection was a derivative inspired by the then yet-to-be-released Bonkler collection by Remilia, developed as a hyper-referential project in a similiar vein to the Bonkler collection, JANKLERZ takes design notes from aspects of retro-futiristic automata in combination with old-web nick-nacks.

A series of doodles were transformed with the aid of niche stable diffusion models, then further processed into the core components of the JANKLERZ collection. Most notably the Cores, which form the coloured parts of a JANKLER's armor.

Random articles of internet culture were processed into traits additive to a JANKLER's main core, forming a chestpiece, left and right handed items and a helmet. The collection heavily utilizes dithering techniques to replicate the resolution and stylization of early images shared on the internet, creating a unique style that adequately reflects these creatures' jank style.

Leancup was the artist and creator of Janklerz, and did the generation.
