Kemonokaki is a 10,000 supply project of kemonomimi themed PFPs; featuring 19 different core races, and a variety of special 1/1 kemonokakis.

Kemonokaki is a PFP project launched on Base, an Ethereum L2. Originally formed to be an Oekaki Maker derivative / expansion, turned into its very own united aesthetic and IP. Kemonokaki's art is 300x300 pixels. Its style is fresh, colorful, and full of soul. Related to pixel art, but more of its own artistic expression.

The main artists of Kemonokaki comprise of Kira, ina, Meow, Karat, Kiv, Putrid, and GC. With many of the artists and the team already being interested in kemonomimi along with cute furry aesthetics- it was easy to develop concepts and ideas during development. Majority of the traits are primarily inspired by kemonomimi chibi style art, kemono-furry fur suits primarily seen in j-fashion communities paired with full Lolita coords, and a variety of other ‘cute’ fashion centered subcultures such as Rokku and Hime Gyaru.

The races of Kemonokaki are split into a couple different categories; chii, cyclops, dragon, droopy, elf, ghost, goblin, human, lovely, rockstar, kitty, lamb, mermaid, moth, mouse, slime, snake, and squid.

There is a huge amount of traits and races, so of course there is so much to explore when you mint your Kemonokaki, please take care of them all! Also, do not forget to try and find all of the secret 1/1 Kemonokaki.

Kira, Ina, Meow, Karat, Kiv, Putrid, and GC were the artists of Kemonokaki with Haiku and Lean helping with secondary art and Tuby helping with marketing with Birdy assisting in promos. MRYT, Kvadra and, and Funky also made art contributions. Haiku, Lean, and Xan helped with the generation.

Chii

Chii are whitepilled and angelic digital angels, inspired by cosplay and anime. Chii’s love their computers, they have made communion with the net and became a part of it. You can find many Chii online hanging out in chatrooms, forums, or simply posting all day with their friends.

Cyclops

Cyclops are creepy-cute, one eyed specimens. Magical and lovely, the cyclops are a largely misunderstood entity, but we have set out to change that. These adorable cyclops want to be your friend- they don’t mean to scare you! Do not let the myths drive you away from these cuties, because maybe.. just maybe.. you will even get a charming one-eyed wink from one of them!

Dragon

The Dragon race sparks alluring intrigue with displays of grandeur. We all have an inner dragon, a fiery spirit within us, and a golden heart ready for battle. Even if you’re ready to burn down cities with your wrath, we must keep it at bay and learn to tame the fire, for one day we will use it to keep us warm at night. These little dragons do just that, and keep you warm and cozy.. (BEWARE: there are still a few feral lizards in the bunch.. to keep you all on your toes!)

Droopy

Droopy race.. they droop and they are droopy. However, what does it all mean? Droopy race are the embodiment of silly and sleepy- they are lazy and calm, they are snoozers and snackers. Not so diligent at tasks, but awfully cute at what they do manage to do. They are dressed in cute pink and blue pastels, and adorable costumes that will make your heart melt! Meet a sweet Droopy and you will be instantly transfixed by their charm and good nature!

Elf

Shhh.. be quiet not to disturb these gentle and mystical creatures.. please use your inside voice when welcomed into their forest home. They are the personification of kindness, truth and beauty. It is wonderful for you to visit the home of the elves, and to tell you a bit about the elves.. they are brave and strong warriors, while still remaining gentle and kind. A graceful soldier in the war for love. She will nestle into your heart and play a little song on her lute. Welcome her with open arms and you will be blessed beyond measure!

Ghost

Ghosts are cute and creepy phantom friends which wish to bring you a surprise of luck. Their reputation for spookiness is a bit overblown, as they never mean humans any real harm at all (besides an occasional tiny spook during halloween). They just want to bring you good fortune with a little fright (maybe even a lucky red packet to ward off old age). Their lifespan (forever!) necessitates a desire for a little fun and mischief. Immortal creatures of the ethereal that will live in your home and haunt your teapots and grandfather clocks. Ghosts wish to play and harken back to the days of plenty, will you join her?

Goblin

Goblins are typically a bit grouchy and mischievous at heart. And you know what they say? Never turn your back on a goblin when mushrooms are served! Goblins are sweet forest creatures who love to play in the mud and collect fungi when they aren’t stealing them off your dinner plate. Goblins are energetic and whimsical children at heart, so never decline z request to make mud pies or fairy soup with her!

Human

The Human Kemonokaki at their core are precious Oekaki babies, spirited to kemono form with innocence and fun. People are often saying that; ‘they are so baby girl’! The love and image of Oekaki Maker wants to spread all over the network, so please be kind as they spread their unconditional love across our beautiful world. We love them and they love you!

Human (Lovely)

Lovely Kemonokaki’s are humans of royal ancestry. They are all Hime Gyaru Princesses. Look at them, eating a little carrot? Tiara on her head? They are girly, stylish and ‘sometimes’ quite friendly! They do care, did ask, and love you no matter what!

Human (Rockstar)

Rockstars are mischievous, imp like girls that happen to come in a variety of rock, and emo flavours. All of which are ready to party in their Rokku Gyaru and dark Scene inspired fashion. They are hot topics, and will make you go ‘grrr!’ and ‘ouch!’ while they rave about how much fun they’re having beating you up in the mosh pit.

Kitty

Miau .. The kitten race are very agile and quick on their feet- they can be a bit shy at times, but dont let that deter you. Give them a little scritch on the neck or a gentle pet, and never ever neglect them! Some of these kitties might be sassy as ever.. and might even hiss at you. Just give them a bowl of milk or throw a sardine their way to lighten their mood.

Lamb

Baaaaaa, observe! It is a sweetie-pilled lamb to follow you through the vast green fields.. The lamb finds strength in numbers, but they sure don’t mind being by their lonesome on occasion. Bless their little white heart. And look, they are cute just like you! Their soft and fuzzy fur might lead you into believing these creatures are all fluff, but they are both strong and courageous animals.

Mermaid

The lore was built long ago.. men who lost their minds at sea.. they imagined beauty where there was a void in the great depths of the ocean blue.. Mermaids are maidens of the ocean, their very spirit is a personification of the grace and awe of shiny seashells and glittering sea-foam.

Moth

Like a moth to a flame, you will find these particular babies irresistible. These are not your typical clothes eating variety of moth, these moths love fashion and would surely not harm a garment. The moths are adorned in sporty-lolita and tenshi-kaiwai inspired fashion in a beautiful pastel palette. These moths are more than just ethereal. They are an angel to watch over you and fly by your side. When you need a friendly creature to check in and say hello, look no further than your sweet baby moth.

Mouse

Would you give a lover of cheese and crackers, AKA the mouse that has made a home in your walls a warm welcome? The little mouse will surely have a place in your heart in no time. Make sure you speak in hushed tones around these critters, they do not miss a word (big ears). And do not leave out your food after dinner because it will surely not be there by morning. So don’t be shy.. give the mouse a cookie before bed.

Slime

Sticky slimes, covered in sweet candy! Gross, right? Disgusted, even? Incorrect! Wrong! Do not let the name fool you, the slime race is full of beautiful coloured ocean angels which grace us with their presence. The slimes are brightly coloured and playful girls, draped with sweets and treats along with Decora inspired fashion accessories! Be kind and do not scare them back into the vast seas. These sickly sweet slimes are empaths, so if they do happen to hurt you do not fret- as it hurts them more than it hurts you!

Snake

Hisssss… No wait, don’t run away! We swear these snakes are friendly and not venomous! The hissing will stop when they get to know you a bit better. Deep breaths, deep breaths. Ok, now let me describe these adorable scaled specimen. Many of these snake girls are solitary creatures, you could consider them to be lone wolves… Do not mistake their shyness for cowardice- the snakes are very strong.. and perhaps a bit of an enemy of our dear mousey.

Squid

Stylish and ready for action, each squid is full of energy and excitement. Squid are colourful and sometimes abrasive aquatic creatures.. do not bother them, or they might blast you with ink! Squid are still a friend to many, and very warm once you give them a chance.. In fact, they are lovers, but DO NOT mention mermaids in their presence (please for your own sake). This is for your protection, I mean it!

Avian

Avian Kemonokaki are a delightful blend of fun, color, and serenity. These feathered friends bring the joy of flight and the beauty of birdsong to our world. With their vibrant plumage and cheerful dispositions, Avians are sure to brighten up any day. Don't let their calm demeanor fool you - they're always ready for a playful adventure in the sky! These charming creatures embody both freedom and tranquility.
